After falling victim to pickpockets, the two founders of Vintecal set out to find a secure, smart bag. They couldn't find anything. So they decided to develop one themselves.

Together, they invented, patented, and developed SIMSIM - a compact, lightweight device that keeps the contents of bags and backpacks secure while enabling direct communication between brands and their customers.

The CEO & co-founder is Sonja Tafelmeier MSc,

a trained design expert and an experienced manager in finance, product development and team-leadership.

The CTO & co-founder is Enzo Galluzzo, a trained electrical engineer, and an expert in technology development & modular IoT product design.

The team consist of software designers, system engineers of embedded hardware solutions IoT, and network technologies & supply chain specialists. In addition, Vintecal has various supporters as accelerator & incubator partners, and technology partners.
